The construction of this sandal is unlike any other sandal you have ever seen. It is made from one continuous piece of bison leather that wraps completely around your under-foot just as a moccasin would for extreme comfort and durability.

The long-range barefoot sandals are made with American Bison leather, tanned in the Great Lakes region of the United States. Prized for being 40% stronger than cow leather, this unique material not only offers strength and longevity but also ages beautifully, molding to your feet over time. These sandal will change shape and conform to YOUR feet overtime. From the leather we use being 40% stronger than cow leather to the moccasin construction, our sandals are built to last. Although your sandals will feel great out of the box, we recommend a 2 week break in period to allow the sandal to mold to your feet. Don't be afraid to sweat in your sandals as this will help them mold to your feet. The straps will become more supple without losing their strength and the footbed will take on the shape of your footprint.

Due to the varied natural grain patterns in American bison hides, each pair of sandals will have a slightly different look and not have the exact same grain patterns as shown in the photos. This gives each pair its own unique character and tells the stories life of the animal. 

Measurements are based on the actual length and width of the sandal footbed itself. 

I recommend outlining your foot on a sheet of paper and measuring the outline from your heel to big toe. Measure the distance between in centimeters for the most accurate sizing. For The American Bison Slide I recommend adding about 1 cm to your foot measurement when picking out your size. For example, if your foot measures 24 cm we recommend going with size 7 - 7.5

For The Long-Range American Bison Sandal you can go with the more snug fit if you would like because the straps secure your feet better.

REMINDER: Length and Widths shown on this chart are the actual size of the sandal footbed itself. You can measure sandals you already have to compare fits with this chart.

We offer completely free repairs on your sandals for everything other than the leather and soles wearing out. The leather we use is extremely strong and durable, which will last you many years with proper care. We offer re-soling and footbed restorations for a fee. If you don't want to ship them back, we recommend taking your sandals to a local cobbler for re-sole before the sole wears down to the leather.
